General
The PSM900 wireless in-ear monitor system by Shure offers a great combination of high sound quality, a reliable radio frequency reception and many professional functions that can also be found on its more expensive sibling, the PSM700. The precision RF filtering function reduces RF interference significantly for a cleaner, stronger signal, fewer dropouts, and a clear, natural sound. All the sound and how it is processed can be tracked via the LCD screens and LED indicators (things such as radio frequency reception, input level and signal reception). This way you are always fully aware of your system!
The functionality of the PSM 900 in-ear monitor
Its quality is not the only special thing about the PSM 900. Take the MixMode, for instance. This allows you to connect two sound sources in mono signal to the P9T transmitter, after which you can create the mix between Mix1 and Mix2, on the beltpack receiver via the balance knob. The balance of a stereo signal can also be adjusted via this knob. The CueMode might be the most practical function of the PSM 900: it allows you to store up to 20 channels on the receiver, so that the user can switch between the various monitor mixes (for various instruments or vocals, etc.) via the controls on the beltpack itself. All of this is encased in a professional metal/aluminium housing.
