Shure MX202B/C Cardioid Overhead Microphone

The Shure MicroFlex Series simply offers excellent quality gear that can be applied to any situation. Especially in those situations where attaching a mic to clothing or placing it on a table is just impractical. This is where something like the MX202 Series microphones come in since they can be discreetly ceiling-mounted, out of the way. These microphone are able to register sound with clarity, whether installed at conferences, or in meeting rooms.

The MX202 Series microphones also come finished in either black or white, and are available with two different pickup patterns: cardioid and super cardioid. A version without a cartridge has also been made available so that an omni-directional cartridge can be installed, and the cartridges are also available separately. This flexibility means that the perfect microphone can be found and matched to the acoustic demands of the space, depending on echo, and feedback effects. And, to complete the set up, the choice between two preamps has also been provided - an in-line preamp that comes integrated into the cable, or a plate-mounted preamp.
