IK Multimedia MODO Bass is a virtual bass guitar that is not sample-based for a change. There is physical modelling this time. This means that there is a string model in the software with which the computer calculates how a played string should sound. In fact, you can then do everything with it that you can do with a real bass guitar, such as the playing styles finger, slap and pick. You can also set the position of the pick and even the age of the string. The result of all this is a very convincing sound with which especially non-bassists can get a convincing bass in their production. Of course, MODO is also interesting for (bass) guitarists as a tempo instrument in a production, a placeholder to play in later themselves. You get simulations of all basses that have any relevance in music history. You also get the necessary effects to complete the audible picture.
