General

Compiling a mass of virtual synthesizers, IK Multimedia Syntronik Deluxe covers twenty-two classic bits of kit, each of which comes with a neat and familiar graphic user interface. While the names have been slightly adjusted for copyright, with models like the J-8, Harpy 260 and T-03, it's no doubt instantly clear which vintage synth they represent. Instead of emulating the oscillators, IK Multimedia has opted to sample the original units for maximally authentic sound while, as far as filtering goes, Syntronik Deluxe emulates four of the most widely used chips from back in the day. Besides samples, this bundle includes a considerable effects section, making it ideal for fresh-faced producers that haven't amassed too much kit yet.
