New product announcements from Apple are some of the most eagerly awaited on the planet! Recently, it was the turn of the iPad mini 4 16 GB Wi-Fi in Space Grey to set tongues wagging. Compared to its predecessor this tablet is lighter at 300 grams, eighteen percent thinner at just 6.1 mm, yet still includes the new A8 processor that is thirty times faster. The tablet is fitted with an ISP LCD Retina screen, a front-facing 1.2 megapixel camera and a rear-facing 8 megapixel camera.

The iPad mini 4 features two processors. The main processor is the new A8 which takes care of most things, while a special co-processor, the M8, focusses on details like location, speed and the weather. This architecture results in smoother, faster performance and enables the battery to last up to ten hours.
High performance thanks to iOS 9
Apple's iOS 9 operating system is standard on the iPad and, together with the A8 processor, ensures great performance. Photos are so vivid, even pictures you take yourself look like they'll jump right off the 7.9" IPS LCD Retina screen. This tablet is also able to pick up Wi-Fi signals as soon as they're available, while cellular models can also function as a hotspot for other devices. Thanks to the high-tech fingerprint lock technology, you can protect any personal information on this device via Touch ID.
