Leuk instrumentje, en beter gestemd dan mijn oude zelfbouw-kalimba.

De bovenste tongen resoneren iets minder qua volume vergeleken met de onderste set, maar gezien het lengteverschil is dat ook wel logisch.

Het hout resoneert goed (en ruikt nog lekker ook!), en je kan er altijd nog een contactmicrofoontje op plakken als je het geluid door effectpedalen wil halen.

Het werkt super fijn om de verschillende noten op volgorde grootte en op verschillende niveaus te hebben staan. Je ziet de (matchende) tonen in lengte, toon-letter en cijfer. Heel handig. Je hebt vergeleken met andere Kalimba's een groot bereik.
Het ligt makkelijk in de hand, ook met wat kleinere handen. Heerlijk om 's avonds mee te plingelen voor het slapen gaan. Maakt me helemaal zen.

Joli son, le kalimba arrive avec des autocollants pour les touches et un petit livret pour apprendre des musiques très courtes mais sympa pour commencer.
