The Lewitt Ray is the first ever large-diaphragm condenser to adjust the volume in real-time in response to your distance from the microphone - directly translating into consistent speech and vocal recordings every time. If the performer is speaking close to the grille, the lower frequencies are automatically dialled back to compensate for the proximity effect and the output volume is pushed down a touch to prevent distortion. If the vocalist is standing way back, then the microphone automatically reverses the settings, giving you back all those hours spent automating the volume of your vocal tracks.

Mute by Distance

The built-in mute button also makes the Lewitt Ray an outstanding microphone for live-streamers. Things get even more convenient when you take advantage of the Mute by Distance function. Set the maximum distance and, as soon as the speaker or singer exceeds the limit, the output is automatically muted, so you can simply walk away or turn the microphone away for those moments when your audience don't need to hear what you're saying.
