MXL has created the Genesis FET, a worthy update of the renowned Genesis large-diaphragm tube microphone, which can be found in countless studios around the world. The Genesis FET has solid-state electronics that contain an FET circuit instead of a tube to attain an audio signal. This mic doesn't actually make use of tube technology, but those who love that authentic tube sound need not worry!
