Rode NT1-Single condenser studio microphone

The Rode NT1 is a modern condenser microphone that is excellently suited for professional recording. It is akin to the NT1-A but, to be fair, really the only thing they share is the grille. As the NT1-Single is very affordable, you might think less of it, but you would be a fool to do so! This unit delivers proper Rode audio quality, partially thanks to the HF6 microphone capsule. The HF6 capsule brings back the beloved sound of legendary microphones from the (recent) past and combines it with a low-noise circuit. A self-noise of only 4.5 dBa ensures the cleanest recordings imaginable, full of definition and warmth!

NT1-Single: internal shockmount

Even without any external accessories, the NT1 is adequately protected from noise as the capsule is suspended in a Lyre-technology suspension from Rycote. The X, Y and Z axis are isolated thanks to the suspension, so that vibrations are not registered. A nickelled aluminium housing makes it corrosion-resistant and scratches/dents are not likely to occur, thanks to the durable coating. The Rode NT1-Single comes with a neat storage sleeve and the Rode RM2 stand adapter for direct mounting on a microphone stand.

• Please note: it is normal for Rode XLR connectors to have one pin (for grounding) that is somewhat longer than the others.
