General

In this deluxe bundle, in addition to the Samson C03 large-diaphragm condenser microphone, you also get a shockmount, a rod stand and a microphone cable. All ready to connect to an audio interface or mixer! The Samson C03 is a Swiss army knife among studio microphones. The three directional characteristics cardioid, figure-8 and omnidirectional give you a perfect balance between a lively, natural sound and sufficient isolation from other instuments. In addition, you can slightly attenuate low frequencies with the low-cut filter. Very useful for close miking. Finally, you can attenuate the output 10dB; which can be very useful if you want to record very loud instruments.

Rating based on price/portability. I have sturdier stands, but this one I can chuck in a shoulder case and carry on the tube.
Light, sturdy for the weight and extremely practical.
I'll take my sturdier stands when I take the car, but this was a perfect portable stand for a gig. No problems at all on a very windy day.

Absolute rubbish. Van Damme cable is just horrible. Also the shell/clips were not grounded when I explored their work. The copper in the cable was all oxidised as well.

I had difficulty find a shock mount to fit this specific microphone as some Samson mounts only fit the Studio version of this mic (be warned). It all fits very well and includes the means to attach the mount to a conventional mic stand. I am very pleased with it. I would suggest that this product flags up as a recommended accessory when purchasing the G-Track Pro from this site, as I would have bought it at the same time.
