General

This Audio Technica PRO70 is a neat-sounding lavalier microphone. It is perfectly suited for speech applications, as well as for picking up the sound of an acoustic guitar. The PRO70 features a cardioid pickup pattern for accurate recordings of sound sources straight in front of the microphone. Speech is clearly registered and acoustic guitars retain their sound characteristics. The microphone itself weighs only 8 grams, so you will hardly feel it on you when it is clipped to your clothes.

PRO70: reliability and a great sound

This lavalier can be powered by a battery (included) or via a phantom power supply. Its rugged 1.8m cable is fastened to the power module, so that you won't have to worry about the connector coming loose. Thanks to the built-in roll-off for everything below 80 Hz you can keep the recordings free of low-frequency ambient noises. The high-quality XLR connector on the module ensures interference-free signal transfers and precludes corrosion.
