General
Shure's WL series lavalier microphones are known for their tiny housing and condenser microphones. This particular model, the WL183, is equipped with an electret condenser microphone, which was specially designed for use in various wireless applications. To this end, the 120cm cable was fitted with a TA4F connector, so that you can easily connect the WL183 to any Shure beltpack transmitter. The WL183's omnidirectional pickup pattern ensures that everything around the mic is recorded, so you won't miss out on any crucial details. Finally, the WL183 comes with a tie-clip that can be rotated in 90-degree intervals, so that you can always find the perfect distance between sound source and microphone!
