American Pro Jazz Bass LH: comfortable
When the Jazz bass was first introduced in 1960, it was praised for its comfortable offset alder body and narrow ultrafast neck. This model adds to that a narrow string nut made of bone, a satin gloss finish on the back of the neck, and 20 narrow, tall frets for even more playing comfort. The maple neck is reinforced with Posiflex graphite rods for increased stability and excellent resonance and tuning stability.
Bridge and pickups
Other important design features include the HiMass Vintage bridge and the machine heads which have a fluted shaft. Both of these play an important role in the stability of this instrument too. The American Pro Jazz Bass LH is equipped with two V-Mod Single-Coil pickups that were specially developed by Michael Bump. They have different types of Alnico magnets that deliver a balanced Fender sound with more output than usual.
