General

The B-204SM from LTD is a sleek-looking 4-string bass guitar, with natural finish. This is the left-handed version. The neck consists of a composition of maple and jatoba. This five-piece laminated construction not only looks good, but is also conducive to the stability of the neck, and thus the sound and tonal stability of the bass guitar. It is attached to the body with six hefty screws, so here too LTD doesn't miss a beat. The body is ash, with a spalted maple top with satin finish. This gives it a unique look that still fits well in any setting.

Versatile sound

Thanks to its extensive electronics, the B-204SM is also both an outstanding and versatile instrument in terms of sound. For instance, in addition to the two ESP SB-4 humbucker pickups, it has volume and balance knobs and a 3-band active EQ. This allows you to adjust the sound to any situation. The strings run through the body after the solid bridge, a so-called string-through construction. This allows the mass of the body to be fully utilised to increase sustain and resonance. It comes with a high-quality XL165 string set from D'Addario so you can start playing right away.
