General
Fender's Player Jazz Bass LH is an attractively-priced left-handed bass guitar made in Fender's Mexican factory in Ensenada. It has a maple neck with a modern C profile and a smooth satin-gloss finish. The fretboard is made of pau ferro, a dark-coloured type of wood that rounds of its sound nicely, and it has a 9.5-inch radius and 20 medium jumbo frets. The neck and fretboard both play an important part in this model's excellent playing comfort.
Player Jazz Bass LH PF: pickups and sound
The Player Jazz bass LH is equipped with two Player series Alnico 5 single-coil pickups that were specially developed for the series and deliver a powerful, rumbling, punchy, tight sound.
