General
The Sire Marcus Miller V3N 4L New Gen is a left-handed electric bass guitar that builds on the successful V3 platform. Thanks to subtle improvements to the body, neck and electronics, this model offers an even more comfortable playing experience and a balanced tone. The combination of a mahogany body, a Canadian hard maple neck with a tinted finish and a rosewood fingerboard provides a warm foundation with a pleasant playing response. This model is finished in the stylish Midnight Blueburst colour.
Updated electronics for greater versatility
The V3N 4L is fitted with a set of Marcus Standard J-Revolution single-coil pickups that deliver warm mid-range tones, smooth high frequencies and a dynamic response. The Sire Standard 2-band preamp makes it easy to tailor the sound to your liking with controls for volume, tone, blend, treble and bass. Thanks to the push/pull function on the bass control, you can also easily switch between active and passive modes. This makes the bass suitable for a wide range of musical styles, from funk and jazz to pop and rock.
Comfortable design and reliable hardware
The neck features a comfortable C-profile, a 34-inch scale length and a rosewood fingerboard with rounded Edgeless™ fingerboard edges for extra playing comfort. The natural maple nut, measuring 38 mm, contributes to precise string action and stable intonation. The bass also features a Marcus Standard Bass Bridge with a string-through-body construction, a string spacing of 20 mm, open-gear tuning machines and a durable chrome hardware finish. The three-ply black/white/black pickguard adds a stylish finishing touch.
