Celebrating ten years of unrivalled performance, the Shure SE846 in-ear monitors have been reworked and upgraded. Improving on perfection, the Gen2 set now features an extra audio setting, so as well as the Balanced, Warm and Bright settings, the all new Extended filter setting gives the higher 4kHz to 12kHz frequency range a wide boost to push the details the forefront and enhance overall performance. Comfort for users with narrower ear canals is also assured with the addition of a pair of extra-small earbuds, and topping everything off, the Shure SE846 Gen2 in-ears now come with a Hi-Res Audio certification.

Wrote the following about Shure SE846-CL Gen2 Live In-Ear Monitors

In ear monitoring scheelt een hoop ellende op toneel. Deze gekocht omdat er zware geluidsisolatie werd beloofd en ik zuinig ben op m'n oren - maar het is een rare gewaarwording als je opeens de drums amper meer hoort, haha. Echt heel goede demping. Je moet er even mee leren werken: heb je ruis of kraak, dan heb je de doppen niet goed zitten. Allerlei formaten worden bijgeleverd, nog niet allemaal uitgeprobeerd. Maar een keer of 10 gebruikt nu, in de oefenruimte en een paar keer on stage: geweldig goed geluid. Er schijnt een limiter in te zitten, maar de (zeer karige) gebruiksaanwijzing meldt daar niets over. Mooi spul.
