To help keep your overdubs as tight as possible, a winking LED gives you a count of four before the next repeat, and of course, you can stop, start, and delete your loops at any moment. Thanks to an insanely high sample rate of 88.2kHz, this looping stompbox can be comfortably coupled with any other effect so you can lay down highly distorted loops without sacrificing any sound quality, and the option of a buffered bypass or true bypass is also ultra-reassuring when it comes to overall signal integrity.

A Mass of Options

This MXR pedal has a brilliantly simple and intuitive layout while offering more than enough mouth-watering little options for the experimental tone-tweakers among us. So, the loop speed can be doubled for a maximum recording time of 3 minutes, or taken down to half-speed for a maximum recording time of 12 minutes, and an external volume pedal (not included) can be connected for extra dynamic control or fade-outs, or even an MXR Tap Tempo Switch (not included) can be hooked up for hands-free real-time control over cool details like the Play Loop Once effect for a super-tight performance and even stutter-like loop triggering.
