General

The optimum range of these SPYR Very Soft mallets for marimba is approximately from C2 to C4. In these octaves, the mallets sound at their best. As the name suggests, they are especially suitable for soft, subtle playing. The birch sticks have a length of 16.75 inches and the 1.5-inch oval head is wound with grey yarn. As for wear and tear - don't worry about that, these mallets last a particularly long time!
