General

At just 18 inches by 10 inches, this smaller-than-average marching band bass drum weighs a nice and light 5kg. The shell has been made from 7-ply basswood and mounted with black metal tension hoops and eight cast lugs, and since the resonance is kept in check by an internal dampening ring, this drum has a tight response. The affordable Stagg MABD-1810 comes complete with a strap and beater.
