General
The Hohner Airboard 37 is a robust melodica with a funky, artistic design that comes complete with a matching bag and a BlowFlow mouthpiece. There are no cables to worry about here, it's music in its purest form. Expression comes by simply blowing harder or softer and with three octaves (F3 to F6), there are plenty of possibilities. From beach parties to unplugged performances, the Airboard 37 is excellent for jamming and sounds great alongside a guitar or ukulele.
Airboard app
For iPhone and iPad owners, there is an AirBoard app available that gives you access to a virtual version of the instrument. To make it as authentic as possible, you even blow into the microphone on your device to make sound. The keys are shown on your touch screen. You can even connect your Apple device up to a mixer or PA so that you can record or amplify the sound.

Hij voelt nogal plastic aan en heeft scherpe randjes bij de naden. Hij heeft maar één mondstuk, de flexibele blaaspijp. Het geheel komt een beetje summier over. Verder bleek de stemming niet zuiver, alle tussen de 20 en 30 cents te laag en sommige tonen hadden moeite met aanspreken. Een stembeurt is daarom noodzakelijk. Maar na een grondige stemming is het een goed klinkend instrument, alhoewel mijn oude hohner melodica beter klnkt.

In oosterse landen daar staan grote beroemdheden met dit instrument op het podium.
Hoe prof. deze airboard is,dat ligt vooral aan de muzikant,maar je kunt er leuke dingen mee doen.
De aanblaas pijp is buigbaar alleen nog al stug,daar door blijf hij wel in model.
Zelf ben ik de 50 gepasseerd,dus het is niet alleen voor kinderen,maar door de lage prijs zullen veel kinderen hun eerste muziek lessen er op volgen,maar dat is ook zo met een keyboard.
