The quick exchange of hardware without the hassle of different thread types is revolutionary. Compared to the original, steel IO-R couplers, the IO-RA are 50% lighter due to the use of aluminium. This makes them particularly suitable for live sound and live productions. Besides being half lighter, they are also half cheaper than the IO-R version and this makes them accessible to everyone.
