The Triad-Orbit M2-R Retrofit MICRO microphone adapter features the exclusive 'Compass Point' ball joint so the mounted microphone can be positioned with hyper-accuracy before being locked in place. Essentially a mini version of the ORBIT boom stand, this widget has been designed to support a secure microphone setup for recording or live gigs. The M2-R has been finished with a 5/8 inch screw thread and, just like every other Triad-Orbit stand and coupler, it comes fitted with the patented Quick-Change IO mechanism to support quick hardware and mic changes, removing the need to faff with any wing nuts or screw knobs. To maximise convenience, all Triad-Orbit couplers are easily swapped over, but are also compatible with other microphone stands.
