General
The RADIUS WINDSHIELDS Mini-ALTO 480 Add-On Kit has been developed for sound professionals who record outdoors and are looking for maximum protection against wind and handling noise. This system consists of an ultra-light, two-part magnetic ‘pod’ windshield that can be quickly attached and removed. The included grey fur cap offers up to 40 dB of wind attenuation, which is comparable to considerably larger blimps. Thanks to the innovative RAD-2 shock mount, you’ll experience excellent isolation from contact noise. The package includes, amongst other things, additional suspension brackets with varying levels of damping, an ergonomic pistol grip, a carabiner and a handy storage holder. Suitable for standard long shotgun microphones from brands including Audio-Technica, Sennheiser and Shure. The ‘Dome Foam’ inserts minimise internal noise, even when the microphone is in motion.
