The WS6 windshield is fit for the Rode NTG1 and NTG2 microphones. It is mainly used for interviews and outdoor recordings. Thanks to the thick filling, the WS6 is fit for use in windy situations - it ensures that you are intelligible by keeping wind noise out. This luxurious windshield has more 'hair' than the thinner Rode Dead Cat blimp.

Article qui peut être suffisant dans des conditions de vent modéré, mais dans ma région du sud de la France où il souffle le Mistral, cette protection n'est pas efficace.

Ik had de Rode NTG2 gekocht en de foamcap is goed voor normaal gebruik.
De dead cat is al beter als het gaat waaien, maar ik ben in het kader van mijn Indie Film Project toch maar voor de zekerste versie gegaan die niet meteen het budget overbelast. Toen viel mijn keuze al vlug op de WS6. Voor het prijsverschil met de dead cat hoef je het niet te laten.
Heel tevreden!
Ook met de snelle levering trouwens.

Heb eerst een Rode NTG1 aangekocht.Op deze microfoon zat een foamcap die echter niet afdoende is voor felle wind.Daarom kocht ik deze Rode WS6 windkap.En deze doet het fantastisch.Zelfs bij hele felle wind hoort u geen gerommel in mijn video.Deze microfoon en Windkap gebruik ik op mijn Canon XA10.
Zou deze windkap dan ook aanraden aan alle bezitters van een Rode NTG1 of 2.Ook de service van Bax was formidabel.
s'Morgens deze windkap besteld en s'anderdaags had ik hem al in huis.

Werkt perfect binnen en buiten. Al gebruik op professionele shoot en ben er heel content van. Gebruitk bij een sennheiser mkh416 en bij een kleinere sennheiser. Levering was heel snel en correct
