General

The Rode WS9 wind cap protects your Videomicro or Videomic ME from wind. Wind can disturb your recordings considerably if you are filming outdoors and/or walking around a lot with the microphone. The WS9 scatters strong gusts of wind and ensures that the air molecules around the microphone return to their resting position. In doing so, the WS9 does not compromise the sound quality at all. Fortunately, your camera microphone doesn't always have to go through life as a grey mouse; this version is bright blue!
