General

The affordable Classic-Softie windshield by Rycote is a robust, fast and easy way to minimise wind and other noises while recording. It's suitable for small-diaphragm condenser microphones that are 19 to 22 mm in diameter. The maximum distance between the opening and the front of the mic can not exceed 5 cm. The high-quality materials ensure a reduction of 25 dB without losing the higher frequencies. The faux fur exterior is impervious to moisture and UV rays, which tells you the Classic-Softie is built to last!
