Take this Classic Softie kit, fit for microphone of up to 18 cm and a diameter of 19-25 mm. This kit consists of a Softie windshield with fur, the modular suspension with the patented Lyre system, a pistol grip and an XLR cable. It's a set that ensures crystal-clear audio recordings without ambient noise in all circumstances.
Softie Windshield
Rycote's Softie is a user-friendly slip-on windshield. The acoustic foam as well as the synthetic fur are designed specifically for wind protection, resulting in a wind noise suppression of up to 40 dB that does not have any deleterious effect on the HF range. As the foam is UV and moisture-protected, it will last you a long time! A special rubber end cap allows for secure fastening. The Softie is a super-durable product, that allows offers perfect protection under extreme weather circumstances.
Rycote modular suspension
The modular Rycote Soft Lyre Mount suspension offers full protection from handling noise and cable-borne noise, as the microphone is supported by the patented Lyre® system. As the clip features a soft-feel grip, the microphone cannot twist or slip out of place. No elastic materials or rubber parts that are susceptible to wear are used, making the Lyres highly robust and nearly unbreakable. The Softie modulation suspension is featured with a lightweight pistol grip, which has a 3/8-inch screw thread fitting for use on a boom pole.
