This A89LW-SFT Softie is made for the Shure VP89L shotgun microphone and developed by Shure in collaboration with Rycote. This soft deadcat windscreen has an interior of slip-on, open-cell foam, that perfectly fits the capsule. The exterior is clad with synthetic fur, for an adequate reduction of wind noise. An attenuation of up to 25 dB is the result, so that outdoor recordings sound great. It is warmly recommended for professionals using the VP89L.
