The Shure Microflex series gooseneck microphones have a different shape than most regular mics, which is why Shure developed a special windscreen for them. The A99WS is made of Shure acoustically transparent foam, which filters out unwanted noise without affecting the overall quality of the sound. This way, it's safe for you to take your Shure MX412, MX418, MX412S, MX418S, MX412SE or MX418SE microphone outside!
