Expressive E Touché CV/MIDI controller

The Touché controller by Expressive E is causing quite a stir in the synth and MIDI world. It can communicate via four Control Voltage outputs as well as via the MIDI protocol, which means it can be used as a MIDI controller as well as a device to operate hardware synths. Just by touching the wooden panel on the Touché, you can adjust the oscillators in your hardware synth in real time! Connect the controller to your computer and supply it with power via USB or use it in standalone mode and use the internal presets by applying pressure to the left or right 'buttons' on the wooden touch-sensitive surface.

Skin controller and Lié: everything under control

The control centre of the Touché is a magnetised wooden touch-sensitive 'skin' that's equipped with a slider and a cylinder. The device also has several coloured LEDs that give you visual feedback about various components. White LEDs indicate the level of sensitivity, and in standalone mode, there are coloured lights that indicate various presets. The Touché goes hand-in-hand with the plugin host Lié, which is compatible with any DAW and supports VST (Windows) or AU (Mac). There's also the possibility to make sensitivity curves in Lié or map functions and then work them out on CV's, for instance. The sky is the limit!
