The slimline design of the Markbass MB Instrument Pre mean it can be neatly worked into the control cavity of most basses, setting it up with an onboard preamp that delivers fully optimised sound, no matter how extreme your settings get. Once installed, this preamp ensures that every frequency that lies in the natural sound of your bass and pickups is delivered full intact to your amplifier stack or combo, and since this edition features a mass of selectable potentiometer configurations, you're assured that you're getting the best active and/or passive sounds out of your pickups. The MB Instrument Pre is also insanely efficient, meaning that a single battery will last you a long time, and for maximum flexibility, it can not only form part of a 9V setup but an 18V setup.
