General
The Eventide Riptide packs a univibe and overdrive in one stylish stompbox, where each effect comes in two flavours to give you a wide range of sounds. In fact, the vibe effet comes in the form of a classic univibe as well a deep phase-style sound, while the overdrive ranges from mid-range crunch to a fully boosted sound. There's room for saving five presets (or more if you're running Eventide's Device Manager software), and every parameter can be tweaked in minute detail. There's even a mini-switch that flips the order of the effects. Finished with stereo inputs and outputs, a mini-USB for MIDI, and an expression pedal input, the Riptide couldn't be easier to integrate into any set-up.
