By ruthlessly blending up the effect of not one, but two iconoclastic H910 Harmonizers complete with the accidental drift of the original clock, the Eventide MicroPitch succeeds in serving up a buffet of classic sounds heard back on countless records. That infamously unstable clock became the stuff of legend among pro guitarists and sound techs over the years, so in the H949 successor, this was captured in a section dedicated to specially designed micro-pitch shifting technology. What the MicroPitch is and what it does is take that character-packed stereo delay sound out of the original processors (including the H3000) and cram it into a compact and solid stompbox.

The Eventide MicroPitch: 6 Pots x 2 Variations = Deep-Diving Grip on 12 Parameters

Supplied with no more than six control pots, the MicroPitch can be steered through a light fattening-up of your guitar sound to forceful and extreme delay. All six pots can be assigned to two parameters, giving you a deep-diving grip on the effect: vary two pitches via the Pitch pots while accurately setting the Depth, Sensitivity and the Mix between the two, then switch over to gain control over Delays A and B. Besides feedback, modulation can be thrown in before setting the overall output level. Save your custom configuration to one of five preset slots and call them up later, and to really sink your teeth into what this pedal can do, hook it up to your computer via USB and use the Eventide Device Manager to hammer out presets before saving them to a slot.
