General

Strymon easily trumps the competition again with the Mobius modulation pedal. Investigating the technology behind modulation effects and recreating the smallest details of each component mathematically, however, was far from easy. For Strymon though, only the best of the best is good enough. An insanely powerful SHARC DSP ensures that the extremely complex calculations are performed smoothly so that the digital effects are amazingly indistinguishable from their analogue ancestors.

The Accessible and Extensive Mobius

While the Mobius sounds unbelievably good, it is also extremely easy to use. The studio-quality effects - chorus, flanger, rotary, phaser, filter, formant, vintage trem, pattern trem, autoswell, destroyer, and quadrature - can be quickly activated and manipulated using the foot switches and dials. Custom parameters can be assigned to two parameter knobs and saved on one of the 200 presets. With an optional expression pedal you can control a knob or a combination of knobs and configure them per preset.

Special Features

The Strymon Mobius features a special mode known as Pre/Post. This mode enables you to connect the pedal to two different locations in your signal chain without having to rewire your pedalboard; handy, if you want to use the Mobius before your distortion pedal in one song, and after it in another, for instance. The Mobius also has a MIDI input and output so that you can control the pedal that way. The uncommonly organic sounding Mobius was designed and produced entirely in the USA. It comes with a power adapter included.
