The digital Strymon TimeLine is an exceptionally expansive pedal with immensely persuasive delay sounds in virtually any conceivable style. It calls upon the help of a monstrously powerful SHARC processor to perform the intense computing that Strymon has set the TimeLine to do. Use the seven controls to adjust 12 different delay styles - including a 30-second looper - to your liking and use the 200 presets to store the results and quickly find them again. What else could the delay-loving guitarist possibly wish for?

The sound of the TimeLine delay

Few delay pedals will be able to match the TimeLine's prowess. The extensive research that preceded the production of this stompbox resulted in a mind-bending selection of delay types, from ultra-tight to clear-and-wavy to warm-futuristic. But what really sets this majestic beast apart is the detailed replication of analogue delays. Strymon refused to rest before every single minute element created by the original circuits (like the famous bucket brigade) was accurately emulated. Try as you might, you won't hear the difference.

A feedback loop

You can both send and receive a mono or stereo signal through the TimeLine. A particularly special feature of this pedal is the Feedback Loop which allows you to unleash the prowess of a random effect pedal onto the effect signal of the TimeLine. This means that the dry signal of the TimeLine (which is always analogue) remains unaltered, while the delay sounds are drenched in any effect you might care to use (the Flanger effect of the Strymon Orbit, for example). In short, this is a stompbox that guarantees an infinite realm of delay experimentation.
