Klinkt prima, maar in mijn set up was de verlaging van het volume te storend om te negeren. Dat verschilt ongetwijfeld per pedalboard en wat je nog meer in je signal chain hebt, maar voor mij werkte het dus niet. Ik had voor de EHX gekozen omdat het toch afstamt van een iconische flanger, maar ga nu toch maar eens iets anders proberen. Daarom drie sterren, maar laat je er niet van weerhouden om de Elextric Mistress Deluxe XO zelf te proberen, misschien werkt het bij jou wel!

Deze flanger heeft een heel mooi warm geluid. Het is de modernere versie van het effect wat Andy Summers van de Police veel gebruikt heeft, maar dan in een kleinere behuizing met een 9V aansluiting (i.p.v. 24V). Ook het geluid van David Gilmour kun je hier goed mee maken. Als je meer een Eddy van Halen flanger zoekt dan kun je beter een andere nemen (van MXR bijvoorbeeld).

Het geluid heeft wel een heel kleine volume dip als je het aanzet t.o.v. he by-pass signaal. Ik neem dit graag voor lief, vanwege het unieke geluid.
