General

Mooer's GE150 Max Li multi-effect pedal is easy to use. There are no less than eight footswitches to give you more control over presets and with a CTRL mode that allows you to assign footswitches to individual modules within each preset. On top of that, there is a spillover mode that smoothly fades out reverb and delay effects when changing presets. The stereo balanced XLR outputs allow you to use it over long distances in live setups, without signal loss. This multi-effect pedal includes 200 preset slots and 55 pre-installed preamp models. You can also load other amps and IR samples. An 80-second looper, a drum machine, a tuner and a dedicated tap-tempo footswitch are built-in. This version is equipped with an integrated lithium battery for up to 9 hours of wireless use.

Really good pedal, surprisingly intuitive to operate despite having a lot of features and effects. I'm usually a tube amp and stompbox player so I can't really comment on how this stacks up against the likes of the Helix etc., but it's a big upgrade on the last multi FX I bought (Zoom G3X) over 10 years ago in terms of sounds. As with any multi there's some great sounds and some that make you wonder who would ever use them, but they all sound quite convincing. The inbuilt battery makes it a really useful bit of kit to grab and go - haven't had cause to use it for a gig yet, but I think that it'd be very usable if I spent the time setting up my patches properly. Overall a great pedal for the price.

Prima multi effect pedaal voor deze prijsklasse maar niet voor de veeleisende gitarist. De versterker modellen zijn ok maar niet van hoge kwaliteit. Ik gebruikt hem voor oefen sessies via IEM’s maar zou hem niet snel voor live optredens gebruiken. De instel mogelijkheden zijn prima maar vergt door gebrek aan touchscreen wel een flinke gewenning. Alles went natuurlijk en ik weet nu al snel alles te vinden. Samen gevat is dit een leuke pedaal de beginnend gitarist, de ervaren gitarist gaat dit niet interessant vinden, tenzij je dit “erbij” hebt en niet als hoofd gear gebruikt.

Wat een goed product! Ik wou es wat anders uitproberen (aan een schappelijke prijs) dan mijn BOSS ME-70 (die was inderdaad aan vernieuwing toe :D ;) ), dus zag ik deze ergens op youtube, en dacht ik, tjah .. waarom niet?
En mijn keuze heeft mij nog niet gespeten.
De geluidskwaliteit is stukken beter, er is meer dan genoeg keuze qua amps/cabs ... daarbovenop nog keuze uit 170 effecten, een stevig pedaal voor volume of andere instellingen, spillover effecten, de mogelijkheid om IR's en MNRS in te laden (heb ik nog niet geprobeerd, maar dat ga ik zeker es doen), heel gemakkelijk te bedienen ... meer dan genoeg om als hobbyist of als professional live te gebruiken.
Ook in de mix (ik neem de sound rechtstreeks op in mijn DAW) valt deze heel goed mee.
Heel tevreden over dit product.
