Zoom's H6Essential multi-track recorder makes it possible to record six audio tracks simultaneously using 32-bit Float technology. So you no longer have to worry about the recording level. The H6Essential handles the recording completely autonomously, ensuring that they are always crisp clear with more than enough dynamic range - both in very soft and very loud passages. Thanks to two excellent AD converters, dynamics are better than ever and you never have to worry about 'clipping' or noise again.

Increased user convenience for the blind and visually impaired

As with the H1Essentials and H4Essentials, ease of use for those with less or even poor eyesight has been greatly increased. When scrolling through the menu, each function is explained audibly. This way, this group of users can still enjoy the sublime sound quality of the recorder. The audio is played through the built-in speaker or, alternatively, through the headphone output. A wide range of languages can be selected, including English, Spanish, French, Japanese and Chinese.

Six audio tracks with an impressive 135 dB SPL

Thanks to the very clean preamplifiers of the H4E recorder as well as the X/Y microphones, recordings can be made up to a maximum 135 dB SPL. This is equivalent to the volume of a plane taking off. In other words: to record the audio of a concert, for example, is no problem at all, and the dynamic range remains fully intact. By the way, when you are not using the X/Y microphones, you can easily remove them from the recorder, leaving you with a more 'low profile' recorder. Clever and practical!

Recording, streaming and mixing

When you connect the H6Essential recorder via the USB-C port to a PC, Mac, iOS or Android device, you can use it as a 32-bit Float audio interface. This way, you can stream and simultaneously record the audio of all six tracks to a microSDHC/SDXC card. MicroSD cards up to a maximum of 1 terabyte are supported. Furthermore, the recorder also functions as a real mixer. Press the 'mixer' button and the colour screen displays a mixer on which you can control the six audio channels in terms of levels. in short, there is no end to the possibilities of the H6Essential recorder!
