AKAI Introduce Standalone Splice Integration!

AKAI have got some exciting news. They've got together with Splice to make life a little easier for you. Naturally, you now want to know just how, so you'd better read on to find out more.

AKAI X Splice: standalone!

Following the new updates for the AKAI MPC X, MPC Live and Force, it's now possible to use Splice directly on these standalone devices. For those who aren't familiar, Splice is an online library that contains a virtually limitless number of samples including one shots, loops, FX and more. One of the best things about Splice is you only need to pay for the samples you want to use rather than having to buy a whole pack!

You'll be able to access the samples via Wi-Fi and you'll need to download the ones you want to use. You'll also need a subscription for Splice, but owners of the devices mentioned above get a 3 month subscription for free after registering their product with AKAI.
