Built with just as much love, care and affection, Gibson now presents the Slash Artist Collection Jessica Les Paul Standard: a stunner of a model directly based on the OG Jessica.
Love at First Sight
The original Jessica was actually a B-stock model and one of two Les Paul guitars that Gibson sent to Slash in the late eighties. One of the features that sets Jessica apart is the three-piece plain maple top and the mahogany body, which is free of any weight relief. The original Cherry Sunburst paint-job was also later refinished by Slash, which is echoed in this ode of a model by the Honey Burst and Red Back finish. The only detail that's been omitted is the decades of gig-wear, giving players a pristine six-string that they can write their own story with.
