Yamaha is a relatively young manufacturer when it comes to drum kits. Over the past fifty years, however, it has had a considerable influence on the development of the modern drum kit. Ever since the first D20 and D30 models were launched, Yamaha has been at the forefront of innovations for both acoustic and electronic drum kits. All of their experience has been used to create this highly exclusive 50th Anniversary shell set. Only fifty of these models will be available worldwide and Bax Music has managed to get their hands on one! It goes without saying that this is a true collector's item.
Yamaha 50th Anniversary Shell Set
This set is based on 2014's Absolute Maple Hybrid model, but is even more luxurious. Twenty-five of the fifty models will be made of Birdseye Maple and the other twenty-five will be made of Curly Maple. We've acquired one of the Curly Maple models with an Antique Natural finish. The set consists of drums measuring 22 x 18, 10 x 7, 12 x 8, 16 x 15 and 14 x 16 inches. We expect to receive this exclusive shell set in mid April.
