The MXR M135 Smart Gate

From guitars and basses to wind instruments, mixers, keyboard and harmonicas, the MXR M135 Smart Gate is the ultimate noise suppressor and knows exactly when to act and filter out noise. With the M135 at your feet, you needn't fear losing out on any sustain because this stompbox has been designed to leave you signal squeaky clean yet fully expressive sound.

Setting Up The M135

Using the Noise Band switch, you can toggle between Hiss Mode (for vocal mics, keyboards, wind instruments), Mid Mode (for electric guitars, harmonicas) and Full Band Mode, while the Trigger Level control can be engaged to determine just how strongly the M135 should react when it detects noise or interference. As such, when playing sustained notes, the pedal will slowly filter out the noise, but does it much faster when you're playing staccato!

goed voor de prijs met een hoge gain amp zoals randall gaat bijna al het geruis weg en nogsteeds een goede sound zeker een aanrader het is zeker geen miskoop van mij

Zonder meer de beste noise gate die ik ooit heb gehad. Geen rare abrupt afgebroken sustain.
Hij doet letterlijk wat je zou verwachten, maar normaal gesproken nooit krijgt bij een noise gate. Simpelweg je geluid zonder bijgeluiden. Petje af voor MXR!

Een geweldig pedaal! Hij haalt heel mooi de ruis weg met volledig behoud van sustain. Het is een beetje tweaken naar de juiste instelling voor je sound (de instelling van bovenstaande foto werkt voor mij ideaal), maar dit is echt een super tof ding en een geweldige oplossing voor lawaaierige pedalen en versterkers!
