The Solid Gold FX NU-33 Vinyl Engine flawlessly mimics the delicious, shamelessly nostalgic sound of vintage guitars and crackling vinyl to uber-satisfying effect. With the help of a little chorus and vibrato and expertly recreated clicks, pops and crackles, you can immediately give your guitar work a warm, throwback edge. A full set of control pots can be tweaked to set the intensity of everything from the hiss to the flutter and from the speed to the ramp. Packed with two different filter modes, three wave forms and an analogue blend control, the sonic colour laid down by this unique effect pedal is under full and detailed control.

The Vinyl Engine

This stompbox also features a built-in doubler mode that can be set between 15 and 50 milliseconds for the desired effect and, for even more hands-free control, an expression pedal port has been fitted which doubles as a CV input. Meanwhile, the multifunctional footswitches are supported by relay-based true bypass switching, and control everything from the tap-tempo and speed ramping to a hold-to-skip function with three speeds for creating custom sonic stutters. All the jack ports have been top-mounted for convenience and, since every example has been hand-built in Montreal, Canada, you're assured of nothing but outstanding quality and pro-performance.
