General

The DC16 Control Surface was specifically designed for Mackie's DL32R. This controller puts all of the digital mixer's functions at your fingertips, and allows you to adjust the entire configuration to your preferences, ensuring optimal workflow. You'll also have direct access to your 32-channel multi-track recording mode, which can be adjusted in real time.

Dante

The DC16 Control Surface uses the Dante protocol to set up a connection with your DL32R, which means your mixer will need the separately available Dante Expansion Card. With this investment, though, the Dante protocol opens up new possibilities, allowing your digital mixer to play a crucial role in larger installations and networks. As the DC16 was developed specifically for the DL32R, the system won't give you any latency issues.

Three iPads?

You can dock up to three iPads in the DC16's Smartbridge, which will automatically register the number of docked devices and adjust the view mode accordingly, thanks to Smart Sensing technology. If you like, you can pick up one of the iPads, walk into the hall and perform a sound check on the spot. That's right, this Control Surface really puts you in total control, wherever you are! Basically, the only downside is that you won't find three iPads included with the Mackie DC16.
