A 15-inch speaker with a great price/quality ratio? That is precisely what DAP Audio's DRX-15 is! This durable passive full-range speaker is provided with a sizeable woofer, so that the lowest frequencies emerge effortlessly. From 50 Hz onwards, the DRX-15 is in the game! The rugged housing is ventilated, which means that air can be expelled easily. This is registered as additional punch in the lower frequencies. The 1-inch horn driver ensures neat high sounds (the crossover frequency is 2.8 kHz) and has a dispersion of 50 x 50 degrees.
DAP DRX-15: properties
This speaker is highly all-round and is not afraid of larger rooms or parties. Make sure that you have a powerful amplifier, connect a lockable speaker cable and you can use it to full capacity: the maximum SPL is 122 dB. The compression driver is protected against extreme peaks: the DRX-15 has a continuous capacity of 200 watts and a peak capacity of 400 watts. It has a 35mm stand flange and can also be used in a flown capacity (if you use the separately available accessories). Durable 15mm thick plywood has been used for the housing, which has a scratchproof black lacquer. A reliable passive PA speaker with powerful low reproduction.
