As the name clearly states, this is a premium series speaker with PR:O features. The Premium PR:O not only looks fantastic but produces phenomenal sound. HK have invested in technology and components that are usually reserved for much more expensive speakers, to really make the PR:O speaker series stand out.

HK audio has one of the most current audio-related R&D departments in Europe. The HK Audio sound systems (including the Premium PR:O series) have a nearly linear frequency response, a stable impedance and are capable of very serious SPLs.

The Premium PR:O series has a spectacular tweeter that distorts very little, even at high volumes, resulting in a clear, defined sound distributed by the 60 x 40-degree horn. The 18-inch subwoofer features a passive crossover that makes sure the low frequencies are always perfectly attuned to the series' satellite speakers. The system's impedance is 4 Ohms per side when using a sub and a satellite per side.

Standard features of the Premium PR:O series include ergonomically placed - and shaped - handles, satellites with standard fly points, a subwoofer ready for casters and Duo tilt adapters. Since the proper positioning of a speaker optimises the use of its output and prevents unwanted slap and echo, the Duo Tilt adapter allows you to project the music towards your audience at either a 7.5 or a 15-degree angle, just like flown pro-audio systems.
