Reloop's RSP series has been designed to create a considerable amount of sound pressure. It is suited for fixed installation as well as for mobile use. A powerful 15-inch woofer and a 1-inch tweeter with directional horn are the essential parts of this passive speaker. Combined, they provide a full sound with a relatively deep bass, without being detrimental to the other tones. As a result, two RSP-15 speakers are sufficient for a compact PA installation.
Components of the RSP-15 speaker
The RSP-15 is equipped with high-grade components, which produce sufficient sound pressure for even the most demanding applications. To provide a matching sound, the speaker is fitted with a powerful 15-inch woofer with a Kapton voice coil and with a 1-inch tweeter with thermal protection against overheating. The speaker has a capacity of 200 Watt RMS, but can handle peaks just fine. A built-in crossover supports the two-way reproduction system. The incoming signal is divided into high and low-frequency tones, allowing the tweeter and the woofer to operate efficiently.
Construction and finish
The RSP-15 has an ultra-rugged wooden construction. It is finished with black damping felt, so scratches do not get a chance to mar the speaker. A strong metal grille protects the components during transport. Protective metal corners and the handles at the sides provide the finishing touch. A practical addition is the 35mm stand adapter that is built into the bottom of the speaker. It enables you to mount the RSP-15 on a speaker stand.
