General

Built for the pedal-heavy guitarist who prefers a deeper pedalboard, Pedaltrain offer up the Novo 18: an 18 inch board that stretches back 14.5 inches. This fully metal board provides space for securing a power supply on the underside, while the slatted design allows neat patch and power cable routing. The Novo 18 comes complete with a durable gig bag, mounting tape, and cable binders.

Top ding! Kan je lekker pedaaltjes mee sparen! Is ook lichter van gewicht dan ik had verwacht! Daarom kan je er prima mee over straat.

Heel goede kwaliteit. Komt met velcro en enkele snelbinders. Meer dan voldoende ruimte voor mijn pedalen en handige draagtas.

Het pedalboard was de dag na bestellen in huis, zoals beloofd.

Het is een degelijk board, mooi formaat (niet te breed en bijna vierkant) dus neemt niet teveel ruimte in beslag op (soms kleine) podia. Het board is precies breed genoeg voor het voetpedaal van mijn Marshall JVM410 versterker. Daarnaast passen mijn wah plus twee boss stompboxjes en tuner nog makkelijk op het board en er is nog plek voor een tweetal extra pedaaltjes! Dus als je niet al teveel pedalen hebt en een goed pedalboard zoekt is deze een aanrader, ook qua prijs-kwaliteit verhouding!

Door de schuine stand is de powersupply voor de pedalen onder het board goed weg te werken, evenals een draadloos systeem dat je na instellen niet meer regelmatig hoeft te bedienen.

Enig punt van twijfel is de tas waarin het board kan worden vervoerd. Deze zou iets hoger moeten zijn, zodat het board inclusief (grotere) pedalen zoals de wah er goed in past. Nu wringt het een beetje, waardoor ik vrees voor de levensduur van de tas. Natuurlijk is er de versie met koffer, maar die is dan weer zo'n 70 duurder...

Al met al ben ik tevreden met deze aankoop en met de snelle levering door Bax!
