Would you like a tambourine effect on your snare or cymbals, but is a real tambourine or a beat ring just a bit too much of a good thing? Then the Big Fat Neck Tie is a perfect middle ground! The material on which the 5 steel shells are mounted dampens the snare or cymbal to a perfect volume while giving a short-sounding tambourine effect. The 2" hole basically fits over any cymbal and on your snare or toms, making it widely applicable across the kit. Another great advantage is that the effect works instantly, without any adjustments to your setup! Ideal for jazz-like, experimental and modern styles.
